Sally Capp has extensive experience in CEO and executive leadership roles in the government and private sectors.
As the Victorian Government’s Agent General in London, Capp represented the interests of the state in Europe and Israel from 2009 to 2012. This entailed strategic discussions and negotiations with companies considering investing or expanding in Australia.
She then joined KPMG as Head of Markets (Victoria), where her focus is on government, infrastructure, technology and manufacturing.
As CEO of the Committee for Melbourne, Capp led a team working on federal and state government policy issues as they related to the development of the state capital. Transport, higher education and climate change were among the causes she championed.
Sally was the first female director of the Collingwood Football Club and has served on the boards of numerous private and public companies and not-for-profits including the Victorian Tourism Industry Council, Rowing Australia, the Australian Heritage Group, MMC Funds Management, DJ Carmichael & Co, the National Breast Cancer Foundation, and the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Melbourne.
