Mark DeCocinis has over 25 years of experience in the luxury hospitality segment and is President and Chief Operating Officer of One&Only Resorts, where he is responsible for both the strategic development of the brand and all future developments. As part of the Shangri-La International Hotel Management team, DeCocinis led the operations of properties in South Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, the Americas, Mongolia, Hong Kong, Japan and Taiwan; before this he was Vice President and Area General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company.

DeCocinis is Vice Chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce, is on the Board of Governors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, and is Vice President of the Shanghai Tourism and Hotel Association and the China Tourist Hotel Association. In recognition of his contribution to China’s economic and social development he has received several awards from the Chinese government, including the Friendship Award in 2004, the Magnolia Gold Award in 2003 and the Magnolia Silver Award in 2001.
