Jeremy Reid is founder of PINCHme, a pioneering marketing company that provides free samples of products to consumers in return for feedback and social network exposure. PINCHme’s clients include Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, Unilever and Heinz. Reid believes “there is nothing like this that exists in the world”, and the simple but ingenious idea behind it has led to phenomenal growth. It launched in Australia, signing up half a million subscribers, and expanded to the US in 2013, signing up 400,000 in its first two months, making its growth faster than any other social media site.
Before this, Reid founded hedge fund Everest Babcock & Brown, which amassed $2.5 billion in assets under management by investing in subordinated debt, private equity and other hedge funds, launching Jeremy to Australia’s Young Rich list.
